SAXCO INTERNATIONAL ENHANCES PACKAGE DESIGN FOR

SOLAS DISTILLERYS NEW SUPER PREMIUM JOSS VODKA

Solas Distillery, of LaVista, NE, the first distillery to open in the state since prohibition, today announced the introduction of Joss Vodka, a super premium craft spirit distilled with locally grown organic wheat and Sandhills filtered water from the Ogallala Acquifer.

To enhance the vital packaging aspect of its introduction, Solas Distillery engaged the services and global resources of Saxco International, Inc., of Horsham , PA , renown world-wide packaging specialists for the wine and spirits industry.

We were seeking a high quality bottle commensurate with our new craft spirits premium feel and taste and Saxco sourced and supplied a white flint cosmetic quality 750 ML Fidji bottle from Saverglass in France, states Zac Triemert, co-president of Solas Distillery. It was exactly what we were seeking to create, a first class appearance with superior shelf presence. Saverglass, one of Saxcos long-time reliable resources in its extensive vendor network, also provided the silk screened decoration on the bottles front and right side.

Saxco International additionally was responsible for the custom printed six-bottle shipping containers which were completed through International Paper in Lexington, KY, another of the packaging companys exceptional supply partners.

According to Triemert, the new Joss Vodka is being targeted at vodka enthusiasts, both young and old, and is terrific straight up, in a martini or in a favorite cocktail. Triemert also notes that Joss will be initially introduced to markets in Nebraska and then rolled out throughout the Midwest. Average retail price for the 750 ML size will be $29.99.

Joss is distilled by Zac Triemert, one of only a handful of distillers in the United States with a masters degree in distilling from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Production includes multiple distillations in the distillation column uniquely designed by Zac to produce extraordinary pure vodka. The result is a smooth pure vodka of the highest quality.

Solas Distillery is an American craft distiller in La Vista, near Omaha, Nebraska that produces premium quality spirits using the finest raw ingredients. The company originated in 2005 with distillers Zac Triemert and Jason Payne, then brewers of craft beers, and brew pub owner Brian Magee. Triemerts dream was to start a premium craft distillery and what followed was a journey through Scotland and numerous other places. Solas Distillery is producing quality spirits in small batches.

According to Jimmy Owens, new product development manager for Saxco International, We made every effort to get every element of the Joss Vodka project just right to assure a fabulous looking end product and were extremely pleased with our role in helping to bring this exciting new spirit to market.
