Larry Coomes has been promoted to director of Midwest sales for Saxco International, LLC, it was announced by Rob Belke, vice president of sales and marketing.  He moves up from his position as regional sales manager in the Louisville , KY office.

            Coomes will be directly responsible for managing the entire day-to-day sales function in the Midwest region and for overseeing the sales force in the Louisville office for the world-wide packaging specialty company for the wine and spirits industries.

            Prior to being promoted, he served for 14 years as a salesman and regional sales manager for Saxco International in Louisville . Before that, he was employed as a sales representative for Lawson Mardon Packaging selling labels, folding cartons and flexible packaging.

            Coomes is a graduate of the University of Louisville where he received a bachelors of arts degree in graphic design with a minor in communications.  He and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Abigail and Thomas, and reside in Louisville, KY.
