To help with some of the major aspects of the new packaging, a complete departure from the previous Yago image, it enlisted the experience and expertise of Saxco International Inc. of Horsham, PA, world-wide packaging specialists for the wine and spirits industry.

Saxco ultimately supplied a quality flint, long-neck, wine-style bottle in three sizes, 750ml, 1.5L and 3.0L. The 750ml and 1.5 were sources from Consumers Glass of Toronto, Canada. Anchor Glass Container of Tampa, FL made the 3.0L. Also, Saxco provided the full-body shrink sleeves to cover the entire bottles in bright colorful graphics.

The sleeves were printed by Multi-Color Uniflex of Las Vegas, NV, and applied by Alliance Labeling of Toronto, both Saxco vendors. The design work was completed by Geile-Rexford Agency in St. Louis, David Sherman�s advertising representatives.

According to Meg Syberg, director of marketing for David Sherman Corporation, "The new design features splashes of red wine surrounded by vibrant fruit in bright green, yellow, orange and red. The brand name Yago Sant� Gria stands out in a bold cobalt blue. It really is an attention getter and jumps off the shelf.

"In addition," Syberg states, "Yago has been around for a long time and has a great following of loyal consumers. This bold, new packaging will introduce the product to a whole new set of consumers who may have not noticed it before on the shelf."
