Scott S. Morris has been appointed as the new vice president of sales and marketing for Saxco International Inc., it was announced today by Herbert L. Sachs, president of Saxco International.

Morris will be directly responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the sales and marketing functions for the long-time, worldwide packaging company for the wine and spirits industry.

Prior to being appointed at Saxco, he was employed as eastern regional sales manager for Saint-Gobain Containers in Muncie , Ind.   He also was national account manager and regional manager for the company.

Morris is a 1986 graduate of Hamilton College where he received a bachelor of arts degree.

In addition, Morris has been active in numerous charitable and communal endeavors including the United Way , Big Brothers and Special Olympics and has received numerous professional awards and commendations.  He and his wife, Anne, have four children, ages 9, 7, 4 and 9 months.
