SAXCO INTERNATIONAL ASSISTS ALEBRAND SPIRITS IN CREATING A

DISTINCTIVE AND ENERGETIC APPEARANCE FOR ITS NEW 

PREMIUM RON ATLANTICO RUM

Alebrand Spirits Company, of Coral Gables , Florida announced the introduction of Ron Atlantico Rum, a premium dark rum distilled in the Caribbean region�s Dominican Republic from a unique blend of 15 to 25 year old rums.

            To create a sophisticated, energetic and distinctive overall appearance commensurate with the new spirit�s fine quality and smooth taste plus provide a prominent shelf appearance, it engaged the services and broad global resources of Saxco International, Inc., of Horsham , PA , long renowned for excellence in packaging for the wine and spirits industry. 

            Saxco International supplied a private mold 750ML flint bottle from Vetri Speciali,

of Ormelle , Italy , one of the reliable and quality vendors in its worldwide network. The new design bottle features a long neck with tapered shoulders and displays an embossed �A� and anchor logo emblazoned on its front.

            In addition, Saxco provided an attractive mahogany wood bar top cork stopper

with special embossed top from J.C. Ribeiro, of Portugal , another long-time supplier.

The stoppers were over fitted with clear tamper evident shrink seals from Seal-It, of

Farmington , NY , also a Saxco vendor. Alebrand Sprits arranged for the colorful paper

strip stamps on the bottle�s closure.

           Saxco additionally supplied the custom corrugated six-bottle containers through

International Paper (IP).  The attractive maroon and yellow decorative litho laminated

labels for the cartons were crafted by Cenveo, of Toledo , Ohio . Their special color

requirements demanded careful attention in the manufacturing process. Once 

completed, they were shipped to International Paper for application.      

           The matching embossed maroon and yellow product labels for the bottles were supplied by Alebrand Spirits. According to Brandon Lieb and Aleco Azqueta, principals ofAlebrand Spirits Company, �The new Ron Atlantico Rum is being marketed to male and female rum enthusiasts from their 20�s through their 50�s.  This premium private cask dark rum with a distinctive and smooth taste is outstanding straight up on the rocks or in a variety of popular mixed drinks.� Alebrand Spirits is going to roll its new rum initially in South Florida and the Dominican  Republic . �We are hoping to expand our distribution in the near future�, they say.

            According to Jimmy Owens , new product development manager for Saxco International who worked closely with Alebrand Spirits to develop the new package, �This project required a tremendous amount of  coordination to blend manufacturing and shipping parameters to assure that all of the essential components arrived at their destinations on time. Our broad experience and global resources were paramount in the success of the project.�
